Pauline Spirit

For the Pauline Year

According to Blessed James Alberione, the worldwide Pauline Family is to be “Paul living today.” Paul, he said, is the real founder and not just a conveniently appropriate model for these communities which have the same origin and the same ultimate goal of making Jesus Christ, the Way, the Truth and the Life, known and lived “as St. Paul knew, understood and lived him.”

The Pauline Year announced by Pope Benedict XVI  as a way of commemorating the 2000th anniversary of Paul’s birth also provides an impetus for this blog, as a place for sharing insights into Paul and the spirituality and mission that bears his name.

As new Pauline Year resources are made available, I hope to link to them here. Please alert me of any discoveries! (The comment box will be a good way to do that.)

This is a beautiful idea! I’m looking forward to visiting this special place and renewing my awareness of Pauline heritage and living it fully in today’s world.
